The Judgment writing competition entails to capture the art of decision making in budding lawyers aspiring to join the reputed judicial services and to unfold the dynamic role of the Judges in relation to society.
The judgment writing competition involves a comprehensive approach towards law in terms of theory & implication of law. The legal arguments on facts and situation with legal precedents and reasoning pave way for judgment writing.
All the Judgments must be saved and sent as PDF file on the Email ID firstname.lastname@example.org . The title of the file must be in the following format MMDU_JWC_ TEAM CODE.

Department of Law, organizes National Level Paper Presentation Competition“Adapting Law for a Changing World”on 28th September, 2018.
The Sub themes for the paper are:
Adoption, Custody and Parentage
Independence of Judiciary and Transparency
Minority and Human Rights
Rape Laws in India
Rights of Children
However the sub themes are not restricted to the above mentioned topics, these are inclusive.

Event 3: MMDU 1st National Level Client Counselling Competition-2018
The Client Counseling competition addresses fundamental skills necessary for all successful advocates, namely the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issue. The Competitors will conduct an initial interview with a person playing the role of the client and then address both the client’s legal and non-legal needs.
Students will be called on to explain various aspects of the advocate-client relationship, build rapport, determine client goals, and consider applicable law and options that may be available to the client.
The problem for the client counseling will be based on any of these: Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Law of Tort or Family Law.
