The SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law cordially invites you to SHASTRARTHA – A Legal Philosophical Discourse, a three day event on contemporary socio-legal issues from January 28th to 30th 2016.
The event marks the intersection of various fields and disciplines – society, law, economics, politics, sports, management and literature.
Over a period of three days, luminaries from varied fields have been invited to share their rich experiences on diverse topics.
The interactive sessions on varied topics are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12.15.p.m on all the three days in the Moot Court Room, 8th Floor, Mithibai College Campus, Vile Parle (West).
In the latter half of the day, the following three innovative competitions have been organized for the students:
Reverse Engineering where a Judgment will be given to the participants and they will be expected to draft a plaint / petition
Donning the Wig where a case will be argued in front of the participants and they will be expected to write the judgment.
Narrative Jurisprudence where a paper clipping will be provided and on the basis of the same participants have to plead on behalf of the accused.
