RMLNLU’s JS Verma Memorial Parliamentary Debate Competition [Oct 18-20]: Rs. 2 Lakh Prize Money

The first edition of the JUSTICE J.S. VERMA MEMORIAL PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE is being organized by the Debate & Discussion Committee of Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University in collaboration with the TATHAGAT TRUST.

The Debate is scheduled to take place from 18th-20th October 2013 in the historic city of Lucknow.

Boasting of a net prize money worth Rs 2,00,000, JSVD is expected to be one of the biggest national level debates organized this season.

What makes the JSVD different from other parliamentary Debating Championships is its highly experienced adjudication core and the ambience of the National Law University in good old Lucknow.

Registrations are open for all Institutional TeamsInstitutional Adjudicators,  Non-Institutional Cross Teams and Individual Adjudicators.

Accommodation shall be provided to all participants in the University Hostels.

The following prizes shall be awarded to respective position holders-

Team Awards

1. Winning Team: Rs 75,000
2. Runners-Up: Rs. 50,000
3. Semi-Finalists: Rs. 12,500 Each

Individual Awards

1. Best Speaker: Rs 10,000
2. Best Adjudicator: Rs 25,000
3. 2nd Best Adjudicator: Rs 10,000
