I am looking for a Research Assistant to help me in a project on international investment law.
The work involves collecting information about foreign investment flows of certain (three to four) countries; the Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) programme of these countries; BIT disputes of these countries; details about the BITs of these countries etc and preparing a short note (about one page) for each country, based on this information.
More details will be given to those who are interested.
This work has to be completed over the next three weeks.
Later, the work will also involve preparing tables, fixing footnotes and references, and any other work related to the project.
I will pay a consolidated amount of Rs 7000 (seven thousand) for this work.
Further, the research assistance will be acknowledged in any publication/s coming out of this project.
WHO CAN APPLY
Fourth/Fifth year LLB students who have a sound knowledge of public international law and preferably of international economic law – international investment law in particular. Location is not a problem.
Experience of having done such work earlier would be an advantage. Busy mooters, debaters or those who are already preoccupied in some activity or the other should NOT apply.
The work requires full commitment and sincerity. At times, it could be mechanical and boring as well. So, apply only if you are serious about this and wish to learn something in the process.
If interested, please email me your CV (not exceeding two pages) at email@example.com latest by 15 July.
As you would appreciate, I will not be able to reply to each one of you. So, kindly pardon me if you don’t hear from me.
