NLSIU, a premier law university, offers a two year post-graduate programme in public policy with a thrust on law as an interface between development and public policy.
Public policy is an essential aspect of inclusive development (access website HERE). While India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, large sections of people are excluded from the development process.
This paradox needs to be addressed in the context of socio-cultural, political and economic realities and it requires specially trained professionals who will be equipped to design, implement and evaluate policies and programmes.
