  1. The Concerned Organizing Committee, NUJS,

Will I be getting a certificate acknowledging the special mention for my entry?

      • Ps: no such criteria seems to be mentioned in the ad, it simply says— “In view of the recent developments in the field of competition law in India, the Society is organizing an essay competition for students in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited.”

the words used are- “for students” and not for five year students!

      • But it says an undergraduate law student. Our course is a 3 years BA(LLB).We are graduates but not law graduates yet. It’s a Bachelor’s course. So technically,we should be allowed.Kindly clarify. At the end of the day, it would be the discretion of your institution. But still, please clarify.

  2. Could you please specify if only a soft copy has to be emailed or hard copies have to be sent to a specific address too.

Also whether the word limit includes footnotes and references.

    Thank you.

  3. Hello SITC, NUJS

What is the “exact” deadline on April 5th? Further, the information for the competition is not available anywhere except for lawoctopus. Please make it available on your university website so that we know the genuineness of the competition.
P.S- We are really grateful that a competition on such niche areas is being organised. Keep up the good work.

    • A deadline of 5th April would mean that you can submit your essays when 5th April ends; just before 6th April begins. 🙂

      12 (mid-night)

    • Dear Celia,

Your query about the deadline has already been answered by Tanuj.

Further, the information about the competition will soon be up on the University website too, the delay having been caused by some technical difficluties. You can also visit the facebook page for now. As Director of the Society for International Trade and Competition Law, NUJS, I also extend to you my personal guarantee about the genuineness of this competition. I hope you are convinced. 🙂 Cheers.

      Fifth Year,
