Theme

India is a democratic country with multifaceted layers of governance and lawmaking with legislation done both by the Parliament and Delegated Legislation by the Executive. As such it is imperative that in achieving practical aspects of societal bliss the essentials of justice, equity, good conscience and rule of law are not lost. The essential of achieving this rule of law is in the existence of a grundnorm as the supreme authority governing all aspects of legislation and executive.

The Constitution of India is the supreme authority propounding the rule of law in India. Deriving our laws from the Common Legal System and British Jurisprudence, Indian Republic follows the rule of Law principle. However with the supreme authority, i.e., the Constitution Amenable and the ideas of natural law ever evolving maintenance of rule of law in the Republic of India needs to be safeguarded against the political vendetta of power hungry politicians and ruling parties.

To achieve this checks and balances need to be maintained in which both the Judiciary and Legislature need to play a vital part.

We thus invite unpublished submissions in nature of article.
