About IFF

The Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) is one of India’s non-profit organisations growing with energy and excitement towards its work on issues of online privacy, free expression and censorship, network neutrality and innovation. The expanse of this work is wide, and in a sector which is seeing rapid policy developments which requires full time staff and administration of existing initiatives.

To do this IFF has started hiring a team of staffers to build a culture of public advocacy on digital rights that is effective and has impact. The bedrock for a lot of these efforts will be an operations and development manager as IFF marches ahead.

Job Description

The Operations and Organisation Development Manager position, as the first full-time role at Internet Freedom Foundation, and provide leadership and management in the day to day operations of the organization.

The Operations Manager is responsible ensuring a productive work environment and quality delivery of IFF’s initiatives, helping ensure timely execution and IFF succeeds in its mission to become an organisation protecting and furthering internet freedoms for all Indians.

The Operations Manager will support execution by coordinating and ensuring smooth information flow with all trustees and IFF’s wider community of supporters.

How to apply

The ideal candidate will have experience in operations of an organisation and a shared belief and passion in building organisations. Prior work experience in non-profits especially those in the digital rights domain is a bonus. This is a full time contracted position. Due to the need for in-person, office time for meetings and discussions we require the candidate to be based in New Delhi.
