The Universal Rights Group (URG) is looking for an intern, available to start in January 2016, for a period of 3 to 6 months.
URG is a Geneva-based think tank dedicated to analysing and strengthening global human rights policy making and implementation.
The successful candidate will assist the URG researchers on a number of projects in addition to taking over some administrative tasks.

The intern will also be offered the opportunity to attend and monitor the 31st Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in March 2016, as the URG’s representative.
Postgraduate students or recent graduates with a Master’s degree in international law, international relations, human rights or in a related field.
Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of French is considered an asset.
Candidates must show an understanding of the United Nations system, as well as political research and analysis skills.
