First impression. First day, formalities etc.: It maybe just me but I took some time to get comfortable at Thiru and Thiru. The boss though a little intimidating, is actually very warm. Mrs. Thiru and the associates were very helpful too.
Main tasks (in detail) – Research work is what I was assigned mostly.
The interns are asked to make a presentation on a particular topic, specified by the Mr. Thiru.
The presentation is to be made in front of the staff and the boss. Helps in confidence building!
Work environment, people – It’s a very friendly environment and the associates are always ready to help.
Best things? I was surprised that Mr. Thiru actually took time to personally evaluate the interns.
You may also be lucky to get a treat on one of the weekends.
Bad things? Nothing really. I have no complaints at all.
What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues: The Thiru and Thiru’ office is situated in Jayamahal.
There is a coffee day, a steak house (Elements Eatery) and some chaat places, all just two to five minutes away from the office so the chilling part was covered pretty well.
My co-interns were a fun bunch so I had great time of work as well.
Stipend/ month: NIL
Anything else you’d like to tell: Thiru and Thiru is one place I would recommend to beginners as they give you room to learn, and understand and help you through the process.
Biggest lessons: One must always be open to opinions and criticisms as it will only help one be better.
