Duration of internship and timings
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
TISS is one of the leading institutions in India in the field of research in social sciences and minority rights.
I was introduced to the team and made aware about the work in TANDA.
We got our our TISS IDs to access all the library resource and material online.
TISS has great infrastructure.
I was asked to make a detailed report by studying the literature on Nomadic and De-notified tribes of Maharashtra. Also, they had sent me on field work studying these communities very closely.
Work environment and people
Friendly and academic oriented work culture.
Access to the well stocked library of TISS was something which helped me acquire the tools for my report.
The work culture was something I really enjoyed and the field work experience helped me understand the issues faced by these communities in a more comprehensive way.
In-depth research in the area of social sciences.
