Scriboard Advocates and Legal Consultancy, Delhi
I applied by mailing the supervisor Mr. James M. His contact details were available on lawctopus: firstname.lastname@example.org
Duration of internship and timings
3rd November, 2014 to 16th December, 2014.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
This is not a regular sort of internship, its more of working from home, without getting paid. The first interaction was over phone wherein the task is assigned and a date of clarification and dead line for first draft is given.
Major task allotted were drafting legal opinions and research work.
Herein the major work is for IPR, Company Law and Criminal Law.
Work environment and people
The supervisor is really helpful but does not appreciate those who don’t ignite their bones for the work allotted. He would help you to have a deep insight over the subject you have shown interest in and would help you think out of the box!
The best thing is the culture of the organisation, the way they allow us to be our own boss and simultaneously help us to develop the required inquisitiveness.
The only bad thing about this internship was sometimes the supervisor is not available to meet up and then you are left with his juniors, who don’t explain things properly.
Be inquisitive and find your own answers.
Any Other Thing
Overall, it’s a good organisation to intern with.
