Sagar Chandra & Associates is involved in the field of IPR.
I was obviously expecting everyone with warm smiles and crisp suits. That is exactly what I got.
Since the associates were involved in an ongoing matter in the Delhi High Court, I had to wait a bit but as soon as they got to know that I had reported to the office, they asked the other interns to get me involved and divide work with me.
The office is small but adequate. Even with a large section for the directors, there was ample space for the interns with the associates and the files.
My work profile mostly consisted of hunting down case laws for important propositions and drafting various types of forms required in IPR.
Work environment. People.
The firm offers a very good and calm working environment. Since I used to commute a long distance, the associates insisted that I leave at most by 7. I was even faced with times when I was literally kicked out of the office for staying back late.
The directors and the associates in the firm were very caring and kind to the interns. During the course of my internship they made sure that I never faced any difficulty.
There was a very relaxed atmosphere, partially because the courts were on vacation. The associates rewarded the interns for their good work for taking them out on lunches and evening outings.
If someone was not able to understand something, all the associates were called in to help if needed. The workload was tight, but never too much.
To be honest, I could not find one single flaw in the firm.
Have as much fun as you want, but keep your work updated.
