Application Process with contact details
The application process was really simple. I had to mail my cover letter and my resume to Mr. ND Pancholi who is the head of PUCL branch.
After my Application got received, I had to got to the office and submit an amount of 1000 bucks, which would guarantee my enrollment as an intern.

Duration of internship and timings
23rd December, 2015- 15th January, 2016
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is built in the ground floor. On the first day, I had problem locating the office. The office is not at all maintained.
In the room where the interns were supposed to assemble could not accommodate barely 20 interns. The infrastructure of the office is not up to the mark.
The main tasks of the intern were to submit a report on any human rights issue prevalent in India at the end of their internship tenure. I submitted my report on LGBT rights and issues.
Work environment and people
Basically we had to work from home, so could not comment on the work environment. There were two really helping people in the office Ms. Babita madam and one more sir. Also ND sir was really helpful whenever you need him.
We were also taken to the Delhi High Court by Mr ND Pancholi sir. He taught us about the court proceedings and work related to it.
We also got regular invites for conferences in Gandhi peace foundation where we got to meet and listen to eminent personalities such as Mr Yogendra Yadav and Retired Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Mr Rajender Sachar.
There there were no bad things, but the infrastructure of the office was not really satisfactory.
I got to hear the experiences of various personalities, which were really inspired me. Mr. ND Pancholi, also is always available for help.
We also had to go to the Tihar Jail, but due to security concerns that field trip was cancelled.
The interns are also subscribed to a one year tenure of PUCL magazine which is also a great thing. Overall my experience at PUCL was really good.
I put up in Delhi, so the accommodation was not of my use.
From my house, its nearly a journey of 40 minutes from the metro.
The interns were supposed to meet Mr. ND Pancholi sir once a week and it was not necessary to come to the office daily. So therefore, as regards to the office timings there were none.
