Duration of internship and timings

15th June to 13th July, 2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I had to go to the office of PUCL to join as an intern and write the joining letter to mam, who is the head of PUCL. Then officially my joining was complete. It was an office feeling like home.

As an intern I was informed about the various elements that you can access on your own. Like for example if you are feeling hungry then you can make your food, there was the facility available there.

Main tasks

Every day I had a new task and a new adventure to explore the city and explore my knowledge. I had learned a lot about the city and about law. Moreover I learned about the practical society that we are living in. I had gone to courts like high court, family court.

I got to know about the problems in the society.

Work environment and people

Work environment was good and healthy.people were very friendly and cooperative. I interacted with many new people. Every day when I and others interns were provided tasks then we get the opportunity to interact.

During my internship I made many new friends and there are about 50 intern and we all interact with each other. No one remain unnoticed. The groups that were made are on the random basis and head i.e. my boss made sure that we all interact with all of them.

Best things

Best thing in my internship was that I was occupied with work always and this make me felt responsible.

With other intern we enjoyed a lot. Every day form morning to evening we love our work and gained lot of knowledge in each and every aspects of work. I get to know the evil practices of the society even when we are so developed.

The task we were provided every day gave us knowledge.

Bad things

Sometimes we were very tired as there we got no rest, during field visits. Every task you have to do whether you like it or not. This sometimes make you irritated but again you learned lot from it. Which ever task you have to do and go far places in the city at your own expenses.

No stipend

Biggest Lessons

I got to the understand that still now there are many people who are still backward and if they are not then did not have that much facility to raise their status. Rich are getting rich and poor are become poorer. There are many problems that people are facing either in terms of education or any other.

Any Other Thing

I have learned lot from it and when my internship was over, I did not want it to get over so early.
