INDUS ACTION seeks to mobilize public resources and empower communities to solve India’s deep-rooted problems in areas such as education, public health, law enforcement and accountability.
INDUS ACTION is founded and managed by a team of Indian students at Harvard University who are committed to contributing towards the
growth and development of India.
We are currently looking for interns to work with us in the Dwarka Chapter of Project Eklavya.
Section 12(1)(c) of the Right to Education Act guarantees a 25% provision for children belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), socially disadvantaged groups, physically handicapped children and orphans in entering classes of private unaided schools. Indus Action’s campaign, dubbed Project Eklavya, seeks to make this provision a reality.
Interns and volunteers are required to spread awareness about all the available seats under RTE Section 12(1)(c) and help eligible families in the application process.
Students pursuing undergraduate or graduate programmes in any discipline from a recognised institution in Delhi, having interest in working towards community welfare, are eligible for the internship. Students staying/studying in and around Dwarka sub-city shall be preferred.
Duration of Internship: 6 weeks,
Beginning from the month of January.

The applicants shall then go through an interview process and the shortlisted individuals shall be intimated of their selection.
