First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
It is situated under Jam Nagar house which is on Shahjahan Road.
First day we had an introduction with Mr. GB Ravi Chandran he is a great man with a very friendly nature.
The infrastructure was good we were suppose to sit in the conference hall. First day we had an introduction about NALSA and how it functions.
We were also given with some of the applications which was received by NALSA.
Main tasks
We were suppose to visit different placed they made two groups containing 11 interns each.
We were given a list of places where we have to visit.
First on the list was Nirmal Chaya Comples which was situated near Tihar Jail. It was a girls home where girls under 18 years of age were being given shelter by the government.
Second on the list was observation home for boys which was situated in kings way camp.
It was a place where juvenile of 18 years of age who was under trial was being kept there.
Third on the list was juvenile justice court which is situated in Feroz Shah Kotla it was juvenile court where children below 18 years of age are being tried.
We also had an interaction session with the boys who were kept there.
Fourth was Mediation Centre Tees Hazari Court. We attended a mediation session we learned many things from that session.
Fith day we went to Rohini jail which is situated in sec 18 Rohini we had an interactive session with the people in charge there.
Sixth day we went to police station which is located on parliament street we had an interactive session with the s.h.o of the police station.
On the last day we went to parliament house which is situated on parliament street.
Work environment and people
Work environment was friendly. Mr. G.B Ravi Chandran was the best man there.
There were also two other ma’am who was always there to guide us. Overall it was a great experience.
Best things
We get to learn a lot of things about NALSA.
We went to different places where we would never have visited on our own.
We get to learn new things about legal aid system.

Accommodation
I have been going there from my home by car. As I stay in Ghaziabad which is near Delhi.
Office Timings
The official timings were 10 am – 4 pm but as we have only been there for 2-3 days as we were scheduled to visit different legal aid places.
