First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On first day, we were given brief introduction about the NGO and the work done by it.

What’s their aim and how to help a person in need.

What would be our task etc was explained by Mr. Noor Alam.

Main tasks

Different tasks were given to different people

I was given task to make a report of organisations and authorities to which an ordinary man can approach during need.

Work environment and people

There is 1 head, 3 advocates and 3 clerks.

They all are very helpful and cheerful.

They coordinate with you and create a friendly environment.

Best things

Best part was First 2 days on which I just had to watch the TV show named Bol Basanto made by MARG.

Then 3-4 Days we need to study their Legal Books on Basic laws and Fundamental Rights.

It was aimed to create legal awareness.

Bad things

Location was far from my home but it has great plus point of Hauz Khas metro station and one can easily get auto from there.

I wish there were more field visits for the interns.

Biggest Lessons

How Common man is unaware of the Rights/Remedies and Facilities provided by our government. Learn how to spread awareness.

Any Other Thing

This was one of the best internships.

I recommend Freshers and second year students to at least intern at NGO to widen your horizon of imagination..
