Team Strength – The New Delhi office of HSA is really big, spacious and with very aristocratic interior. There are different team heads (Partners) working in different areas of law with their team members (Associates, Senior Associates)

Duration of internship and timings

November 05 2013 to December 05 2013.

5 days per week, i.e. Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6:30 pm.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First day even though the work was less, still the introduction by the Manager to every Associate, Senior Associate, Partner and other employees was really impressive and warm welcoming.

It is a culture at the Firm that every new Intern shall be nicely introduced to everyone at the Office.

Main tasks

Main work assigned was that of ‘research’. Every intern was required to research on different laws on which the Lawyer was working.

Work environment and people

The work environment at the firm is very cool and healthy. Every lawyer there is really talented, hard working and most of all well mannered and smart.

You get to learn a lot from each of them. They have a friendly approach towards the Interns.

Best things

Hemant Sahai and Associates is a leading law firm in energy laws and infrastructure. Thus I got to research on cases pertaining to electricity laws as a result I got an insight about the electricity law, which I want to excel in one day.


Stipend criteria is calculating Rs.1000/- per week. Thus you get stipend as per number of weeks you Intern.
