I sent the internship application with my CV on

Duration of internship and timings

22 Nov. 2012 to 12 Dec. 2012 and timings were 9 am to 6 pm.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I was expecting a Law firm with a lavish office and large vicinity. But contrary to that, it was small and compact in the basement of a building. But the impact of Mr.R.K.Sanghi changed my perception towards legal field.

He shown me what can a true lawyer achieve if he is duty bound to his work. His dedication and determination to his work at his age was remarkable.

He was most active soul in office. His presence marks red alert in office and he was very particular about what he want out of people and they disappoints he didn’t hesitated in even throwing it on your face.

Overall it was a very helpful and much needed internship experience.

Not much formalities a small conversation with HR and the I was assigned work.

Main Tasks

Main task was research on various topics of litigation.

I worked on Arbitration, Electricity Act and also visited several offices such as FICCI, Company Law Board, Delhi High Court which further strengthened my interest in this field.

Work environment and people

Quite seriously I was never given this much time to even think or notice the environment around me as we were always under threat of being scolded on our work but whatever little I noticed it was good and friendly.

Best things

Loads of work and teaching attitude of Mr.R.K.Sanghi.

He really treated me as his own kid which I will never forget in my forthcoming legal career. Something for which I will always remain thankful to him.

Bad things

No Stipend.

I believe a small to and fro expense would have become a motivation for anyone but the experience was priceless.

Biggest Lessons

Things come starts taking shape if one is determined to lead. Believe in one’s hardwork and learning attitude can do wonders in one’s life.
