Application Process with contact details
I got this internship at Indian Tobacco company (office at Lucknow) through personal contact.
Duration of internship and timings
I interned for 30 days there from 1st May 2014 to 30th May 2014
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On my first day I got introduced to all the employees of legal and marketing department specifically.
I was briefed about the project I will have to do for the rest of my internship.
Everyone was very co operative and friendly.
The ambience was really good and not the type that makes u loath working.
My internship was not only about legal aspect there. My project mainly focused on the comparison between the sales rate of bingo and lays.
Bingo is a product of ITC and the major problems and hurdles that bingo is facing to overcome the competition.
I took this internship since I was a student of BBA LLB so this was the perfect mixture of legal plus business knowledge
Work environment and people
As I mentioned earlier, the people were really helpful and this got me through the internship.
The ambience was also perfect and we used to get tea or coffee whatever we wanted.
There was no strict adherence to time. One could come in by 11. Also the people were supportive and they took care of my needs. We used to get tea and coffee as many times as we liked.
If one wants a pure legal experience then this is not the type of internship you would like to do. Apart from that I do not find anything bad about this internship
I learnt a lot of marketing techniques and skills through this internship. Before this it was all classroom knowledge but after internship I saw it’s practical aspect too.
There were no strict timing and I usually had to report between 10 am or 10:30 am and leave by 5 pm.
