We were working at Lake Garden branch.
Our office was a really good place for working, but the rooms there was little bit small.
On the 1st day of our internship we were given a short orientation about our work which we were supposed to do letter on in our 4 week time. over all it was all good there.
Main Tasks
We were supposed to conduct campaign on substance abuse and corporal punishment with in different places in Kolkata, basically the place with more community people (people with low resources).
We also did the preparation for our campaign like, making chart paper, preparing speech etc.
Work Environment, People
Work environment was good.
People out there were also cooperative.
Best Things
Best thing about our campaign was that we really had a learning session there, we come to know about the actual problem of the community people and we also learn many laws relating to our campaign topic.
Bad Things
Over all my internship was good.
I did not find any thing bad about that.
Stipend
No stipend
Biggest Lessons
We come to know how to manage time, and the main thing was that we get the practical knowledge about the society and the problem there.
We come to know the actual scene of a community that has a very low resource.
We also come to know many cases related to substance abuse, like what a family face when any one member of that family is engaged in that.
Any Other Thing
Over all it was really a good learning experience.
