Bar and Bench, Bangalore, 4-5 associates
I had mailed my application along with my CV to firstname.lastname@example.org around two months before the stipulated period of internship.
I got a confirmation within a week.
Duration of internship and timings
One month, July 2014
10 am to 5 pm, 7 hours roughly
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I was working under the guidance of Mr. Anuj Agrawal. He briefed me about the kind of tasks I had to deal with.
Medium sized office yet really impressive infrastructure.
Research on Supreme Court judges and their profiles, Wikipedia editing, worked on the Bar and Bench report, publication on the website.
Work environment and people
One needed to adhere to the deadlines and put stress on the quality of work done.
Nice bunch of people, one can learn a lot from them. Co interns were good as well.
Flexible working hours, friendly people and some off beat legal journalism work.
As it was a legal journalism based internship, hence no strict drafting work.
Quality work is any day better than shabbily done voluminous tasks!
