Name of Organisation, Location, Team Strength
Avocate Ravi Kiran Mathur, Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur
I got the internship through personal contacts. But you guys can contact them through email –email@example.com
Duration of internship and timings
Timings- 6 pm – 9pm in the office and accordingly in high Court.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The very first day I was allotted a separate desk. I was asked to work under Advocate aditya mathur.
Sir asked me what subject I have studied so that accordingly they can allot me work.
There was no formalities or paper work and I started my work after a little introduction by Aditya Sir.
The office was very well furnished and the books were in thousands including each and every AIR and SCC editions and was built in the basement of their residence.
Since I had studied only CPC. Therefore my work was limited to civil cases.
What I used to do is that everyday in the evening I read a case file and then discuss the probable ways to move with the case.
Then next day I used to attend hearing of that case in the high court and then in the evening again I used to ask about the procedural details of the case to Aditya Sir.
Work environment and people
Work environment was not at all strict.
Sometimes I used to sit in the office in the morning also.
Aditya Sir was always ready to answer my questions in a very delicate way and he was very humble and polite.
He sometimes also shared his past experience with the cases.
Being in judiciary needs you having a lots of contacts and you should never hesitate in asking to your friends and superiors, otherwise there are many lawyers in India who have just become clerks.
Any Other Thing
One should not do internship under an advocate in the first year itself because it is very difficult to catch things unless your basics are strong about procedural laws.
