He taught us legal drafting of a writ petition as well as an Original Application and notices. He explained us the basic filing procedure. He gave us cases to read and research on. He took us to client meetings as well as workshops and everything he was engaged in at the present time.
He made us prepare case notes and involved us in evidence research as well. Since he is a well renowned name in this field he had a lot of work but he never burdened us with anything.
Manish Verma sir is very thoughtful and a genius person, not only he corrected me where I was wrong but also explained and taught me every work he assigned. He was helpful and lenient and strict where he has to. He introduced us as his juniors and not interns to everyone we met. This was the best internship experience ever.
If you really want practical exposure and a rich learning experience he is the best person to teach you and face you to the ground realities of this profession. If you have interest in litigation you MUST intern with him once for a rich experience.
The Best Things
This is as I have already mentioned a rich learning experience and a MUST internship for those interested in litigation. His style of working and helping and guiding us with the work he assigned us was an amazing experience. He taught us the importance of a good lawyer in a society and the professional ethics of this field.
No stipend as such, but various treats in the due course of our internship.
