How big was the office? Team strength?
The new office is very very big. Firm has a strength of 30 associates working under different teams and the number is increasing gradually and looking for opening it’s offices in other cities.
I was guided by 2 to 3 associates all through my internship period. They were very cooperative and use to help me every now and then.

Thirty one days was the period of my internship.
The timing was from 9 a.m to 7 p.m but they were not so strict as per timing all they need is your performance and dedication towards your work.
Accommodation: how, where, how was it?
I stayed at Marathalli and used to commute by bus (335E).
It was very convenient for me to travel and one should not have any problem as BMTC is providing Volvo Air Conditioned Coaches at reasonable fares.
First impression. First day, formalities etc.
My first impression of Crest Law Partners was quite good. I dressed myself in a complete formal attire like any other intern. I had a brief introduction with Ravitej Rao M, partner heading the Corporate Team and he inquired me about my interests in law and my ambitions.
I was allotted a cabin with a system, later during lunch I gave my introduction to all the associates who were present over there.
They also introduced themselves and it was very inspiring hearing there qualification and experience, there were no formalities as such from the very first day I started working.
There were many tasks which I did but the main focus was on Litigation & Corporate and some work related to Real Estate.
I was assigned the task of drafting notices and reply notices and vetted various agreements and deeds such as Licensing Agreement, Lease cum Sale Agreement, Hire Purchase Agreement and etc. these works may seem very hectic but very interesting apart from the office work interns have an opportunity to visit High Court and other lower court in Bangalore along with partners and associates.
It was truly a very informative and experience gaining internship which was helpful to me in academics as well in other internships.
Whenever I was in a need of help or any kind of guidance, associates at Crest Law Partners were always there for me and all the interns used to have easy access to the partners who in spite of their hectic schedule used to guide and make us learn things in a better way, they were very supportive and motivated.
Every intern at the end of the internship period should present on particular certain topic of their own choice and the same is mandatory, I gave my presentation on the topic “Regulation of Sports Betting in India” with a critical analysis on taxation of the sports betting and my co intern gave a appraisal on the Novartis Case.
Work environment, people.
The associates were very friendly as were other interns, every day they use to teach something new and a new way of doing the work.
They are committed during the work hours but were very friendly once they are off, they used to take out for movies and restaurants and all together different story on birthdays and other occasions of the team members.
We were also given decent treats by partners.
Best part of internship.
I learned many things in just a short period of time which is very much useful for me till now. And the best thing is that many of the associates were very young I guess between the age of 27 to 35.
I should mention it again and again that the amount of positiveness they showed was very commendable.
It was nothing as such but yes amount of work I use to do was very heavy but it was overcome by the positiveness which I got from them.
Crest Law Partners does not have a policy of paying their interns as far as I know but I was given a token of appreciation on my last day.
