Duration of internship and timings

3rd November, 2014 – 1st December, 2014

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

There were no such formalities with regards to paperwork but instead of that the recruiter met me and we had an ice breaking session because it was my first internship and I was nervous so he made me feel comfortable then my supervisor told me what were the expectations and assigned me my work.

Main tasks

My main work included translating FIR’s, court visits, briefing the recruiter and clients, case studies and drafting.

Work environment and people

Now it has been shifted to Noida Sector 15 A but the old office at Nizamuddin west was a big enough office mostly had homelike feeling. We had no pressure at all. At times, when we stayed there for long time or when the workload increased they had a coffee machine to reduce that stress. Its very good office environment and all the associates are also good and interactive.

Best things

Coffee Machine was the best part I loved.

Being my first internship my never before experience of courts were amazing.

Bad things

There were no such good and bad thing. They are strict with regards to work and time and if you have to take leave you have to inform them at least one week prior to the day of leave.

Rs. 1100/-

Biggest Lessons

What I learnt in this internship was being punctual and hardworking is must for a lawyer. In addition to it, you must know Hindi and other local languages it helps you in field of litigation and also in matters involving huge amount of drafting.
