School of Corporate Law & Centre for Responsible Corporate Governance, IICA propose to organize a three day Residential Training Programme on Companies Act, 2013: Issues and Challenges during February 10-12, 2015.
Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has been established by the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, to act as a think-tank and centre of excellence to support the growth of the corporate sector in India through an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach.
The state-of-the-art campus of IICA is located at Manesar, Haryana. IICA offers capacity building and advisory solutions to the Government, Statutory Authorities, Private Sector and other stakeholders through its various Schools, Centres and Foundations.
In furtherance of its mandate and objective, the School of Corporate Law & Centre for Responsible Corporate Governance, have proposed the three day Residential Training Programme on Companies Act, 2013: Issues and Challenges.
This training solicits participation from Senior Corporate Executives, Practicing Lawyers, Legal Officers, Government Officials, Academics and Researchers.
This Training Programme will generate debate on the major problems faced by the Policy Makers, Lawyers, Legal Officers, Senior Corporate Executives, Company Secretaries, Academics and Researchers in India.
The programme will focus on the following themes: Overview of Companies Act, 2013; Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); One Person Company; Related Party Transactions; Recent Trends in Capital Market; Independent Directors; Corporate Governance and Companies Act, 2013; Insider Trading; Corporate Governance Practices in India; Corporate Frauds: Role of SFIO; Class Action Suits; Company Management and Corporate Insolvency.
