First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day I was given the internship form to fill and then I was given set of rules and regulation to read. The firm has a magnificent infrastructure and also provides separate workplace for interns.
I was working with both the corporate and real estate department so my main task during the internship was to assist the Associates with the research work on the matters they were working on.
I was asked to prepare news updates pertaining to Business (International and National) and recent circulars, notifications and orders of RBI, SEBI & MCA.
I was asked to summarize various agreements and make a requisition with respect to the necessary documents.
Work environment and people
The environment at ICUL is very good and friendly, as all the associates, senior associate and partners were friendly and easily approachable.
The best thing about the internship was I was the only intern during my period of Internship so I got more works which helped me to learn more.
There is no bad things.
The Firm provides stipend based on the performance.
Interning at Universal Legal, the biggest lesson I learnt was how to be accurate at research and this internship taught me the drafting of agreements.
I reside in Chennai so I did not have any problem for accomodation but those who do not belong to Chennai can find paying guest for accommodation which is easy available.
