GNLU’s Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution: Apply by April 15

GNLU is introducing new course, namely “Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution – (PGDADR)”, commencing from this academic year, 2017-18.

About The Course:

The Programme seeks to introduce students and professionals to study of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms which attempts to understand the implementation of different modes and tactics to resolve the conflicts, disputes and differences.

The objective of this course is to inspire a new generation Professionals from any discipline to rethink traditional approach to resolve conflicts.

Grounded in dispute resolution theory, the P.G. Diploma course combines solid theoretical grounding, broad multidisciplinary training and opportunities for individual to study and develop skills towards resolutions.

The aim of this course is to provide an opportunity for in-depth and high-profile study of international dispute settlement mechanisms from a comprehensive range of perspectives.

The course covers contemporary issues, themes and subjects, including private and public international law, and probes into today’s relevant fields, such as Commercial Arbitration, Investment Arbitration, WTO dispute settlement mechanism, proceedings before the international institutions and tribunals like ICC, LCIA, PCA etc.

Duration Of Course:

One Year Full-time Course. (Eight months for teaching and Four months for research) – 2017-18

The Curriculum Includes:

  • Two Clinical Papers (two training programmes, mock advocacy and research presentations)
  • Weekly tutorials
  • Conference on Dispute Settlement Mechanism during semester interval
  • Career events (Optional)

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

Any Candidate with Bachelor’s Degree (12+3/ 12+5) from any recognised university from India or abroad is eligible to apply.
