The Aim of GEP 2016
Habitat Harmony is to collectively pass Resolutions on one of the most pressing questions facing humanity: how to create a harmonious habitat for the billions of humans, animals, birds, plants, water, land and air on the planet. Nature has its own harmony, in which many different species co-exist in a mutually beneficial ecosystem. We know that when the balance is lost in any way, the survival of the entire system is at stake, and now is the time to ask our leaders to make a change.
Resolutions will include proposals and policy suggestions from every sector. The Resolutions will be submitted to the international decision makers. For the last 7 years the Global Energy Parliament has been bringing out globally leading ideas from our member scientists, politicians and other engaged persons around the world. Every year we send a summary of the best ideas and concepts to the governments of all countries and other bodies of international importance like the UN.
The Global Energy Parliament (GEP) is an international body working to ensure a self sustaining, peaceful existence for human beings and the world. GEP is organized by the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust (IVPT), a charitable organization founded in Thiruvananthapuram, India by His Holiness Swami Isa. IVPT holds consultative status to the United Nations’ ECOSOC since 2015.
