With immense pleasure we announce that Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi and Faculty of Law, Meerut College, Meerut is jointly organising a National Seminar sponsored by I.C.S.S.R. New Delhi on 19 & 20 March, 2016.
Meerut College, Meerut was established on 15 July 1892. It is premier among the oldest educational institutions which caters to the needs of higher education in Northern India.
The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) was founded in 1959 at the initiative of Shri V. K. Krishna Menon and was inaugurated in the same year by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India.
Sub themes identified for discussion are as follows:
1. Surrogacy in India: Issues and Challenges
2. Medical Aspects of Surrogacy Arrangement
3. Social, Economic and Ethical Concerns
4. Efficacy and Efficiency of Proposed Law-ARTBill-2013 of India
Paper may be presented either in Hindi or English.
It should be submitted in hard as well as soft copies.
The soft copy should be in MSOffice 2007 in Font Size, Times New Roman-14 and in Hindi in Font Size Kruti Dev-12.
Manuscript should be neatly typed in double space on one side of A-4 size paper.
Research Paper should not exceed ten typed pages.

Paper will be published in book form.
Venue Seminar will be held at seminar hall of ISIL, New Delhi.
The ISIL is housed at V.K. Krishna Menon Bhawan, Bhagwan Das Road, opposite to the Supreme Court of India and next to the Indian Law Institute (ILI).
It has two in house air-conditioned conference halls with a seating capacity of 80 &100 respectively, a full-fledged airconditioned auditorium of 250 seats for organising seminars/conferences and symposiums, a number of class rooms, office spaces etc.
