First impression, first day, formalities

The office is situated in Indiranagar and is close to the metro which makes travel convenient.

The first day at the office was extremely warm and welcoming. The work given however was quite light.

The first impression of the office was great as it provided a healthy environment to work in. The associates were very friendly and after you ease into the system

The Partners interact with interns a lot and treat you as an equal making the work environment more friendly and devoid of Senior- Junior Hierarchy.

The work space for the interns is currently a little constrained however the amount that you will be bustling in between court, your desk and the conference rooms won’t make you feel like that.

Main tasks

The office comprises of three teams that deal with criminal, civil and consumer law related activities.

I got a variety of work ranging from divorce cases to medical negligence cases to even attending an arbitration.

Work environment, people

The associates are really friendly and specifically allocate work that fits in your wheelhouse. They also don’t mind explaining your tasks thoroughly thereby keeping you informed and ensuring the best work from your side.

The best things and the bad things

The best thing BMSP is the fact that there is no hierarchy and if you have enough drive this will be the best place for you. You also get to spend personal time with the associates and get to know more about them.

Bad things

The bad things here would be the fact that there is no stipend and that the transport can be a little difficult if the area you live in is not connected by the metro. The office space might be a problem for some but it is an easy work around and it is genuinely worth the experience.

Accommodation etc. What did you to do chill in and around the office

Since the office is situated in Indiranagar there is a bunch of places that you can rent out and stay. As I live in Bangalore there wasn’t any need . There are multiple eateries around the area that you can go for lunch or a quick snack and if you are fortunate, The partners might even just accompany you along.
